About
The Foundation for Stage Managers was established in 2022 with a grant from the Stage Managers' Association; we have proven impact with grassroots support and a strong foundation which has begun to address the needs of the stage management community.
2 Partnerships
Partnered with United States Institute for Theatre Technology and Questex/LDI, presenting "How to Apply" workshops about the funding available to our greater entertainment community.
15 Grants Awarded
Grants to organizations as diverse as to Colorado's Wheat Ridge Theatre Company to Ebony Players in Michigan and to individuals for career development, research and continuing education on behalf of the field. Filling a set of diversely geographic needs from New York to Colorado.
40 Regional Theatres
The Reach Across America Campaign brought the work of the Foundation to the attention of 40 Regional Theatres as well as securing support from regional theatres securing funds to increase our grant potential.
200 Individual Supporters
We increased the individual donors from our founding 40 to 200+ individuals as of October, 2024.
